Aeronautica Landing, now open at Carowinds, is a new themed area that pays tribute to the Carolinas’ spirit of invention, exploration, and aviation. The Terminal A restaurant and bar serves as one of the cornerstones for the new immersive area.

Inside Terminal A

Modeled after the high-end and exclusive sky clubs of yesteryear, the new Terminal A restaurant and bar offers a top-tier experience. The inside of the restaurants features numerous themed elements, including memorabilia like flight jackets and a screen simulating flight behind the bar.

Outside, guests can enjoy a spacious and stunning patio that overlooks the entire Aeronautica Landing area. At night, string lights create a comfortable ambiance for conversation over cocktails.

Mobile Ordering

Terminal A features a new mobile-only ordering experience. Guests should choose their table, either inside or on the patio, and then open the Carowinds mobile app. Once on the app, guests should select the mobile ordering option from the home screen, then select Terminal A. After completing their order, the app will ask for their table number. The friendly staff will bring guests’ food right to their table.

Guests can place both food and beverage orders through the Carowinds mobile app. Only beverage orders can be placed at the walk-up bar inside Terminal A.

Elevated Bites

From savory to sweet, the menu at Terminal A features both small plates and heartier options. Most items are meant to be shared with your flight crew.

Balsamic Grilled Chicken Sliders – Grilled chicken breast served with mozzarella cheese, roasted peppers, baby arugula, and pesto mayonnaise on brioche buns.

Bavarian Pretzel Bites – Served with beer cheese.

Bleu Cheese Wedge Salad – Baby iceberg lettuce topped with bacon, tomato, onions, and bleu cheese.

Charcuterie – Selection of local cheeses and cured meats.

Flourless Chocolate Torte – Freshly baked slice of rich chocolate cake (gluten free).

NY Cheesecake – With caramel drizzle, powdered sugar, and whipped cream.

Pork Belly Burnt End Sliders – Cherry-glazed burnt ends topped with jalapeno slaw on brioche buns.

Smoked Brie En Croute – Miniature bites of brie cheese wrapped in puff pastry and drizzled with honey and seasonal chutney.

Smoked Heirloom Cauliflower – In a balsamic glaze and served with a baby arugula salad.

Spinach Artichoke Dip – Served with pita chips and topped with Asiago cheese.

Waffle Fries – Tossed in garlic and parmesan cheese.

Note, Terminal A menu items are not included on Carowinds’ dining plans, due to the tapas-style nature of the restaurant.

In addition to local craft beer, Terminal A features a line-up of signature, hand-crafted cocktails. Each of these cocktails are served in a souvenir Aeronautica Landing cup.
