Wondering if your child is tall enough to enjoy that ride they’ve been eyeing all year or what shows are available while you’re strolling the park, well your answers are at your fingertips as you plan your next day of FUN at Carowinds. A day of little thrills in our Camp Snoopy area or bigger thrills like Kiddy Hawk and Gyro Force sounds like the perfect way to start building your day of FUN. OR you can cool off in Coastal Currents and have a splash in Pelican Plunge. You have the option to fill your entire day with endless FUN that is sure to please everyone! Don’t forget to plan for a break to refuel at one of our many food and beverage options like Beach Bites, Blue Ridge Country Kitchen, and Camp Cookout with many more options to choose from.
Besides rides and attractions for all ages, Carowinds offers several amenities to ensure a family fun day with children is as comfortable and carefree as possible.

Camp Snoopy
Families with small children will find plenty of things to do in Camp Snoopy, the large children’s area at Carowinds. The themed area features a variety of flat rides, two small roller coasters, and an immersive playground.
Helpful Tips for a Day of FUN!
Children who are two-years-old and younger receive free admission into Carowinds, and a ticket is not required for admission into the park.

A meeting place and time should be arranged in case your party becomes separated. We are unable to page for separated party members throughout the park. In the event you are separated, please contact Guest Services, located near the North Gate, or report to the Baby Care Center, located in Camp Snoopy.

Yes, family restrooms are available throughout the park and are noted on park maps to help find your way. Look for the designated symbol on the map legend to identify the available family restrooms

Stroller and wheelchair rentals are located next to Guest Services at the North Gate Entrance. Please note, a valid form of identification must be presented to rent a manual or electric wheelchair. Acceptable forms of identification include:
- Driver’s License
- State I.D.
- Military I.D.
- Season Pass
Guests with infants or young children can take advantage of the Baby Care Center in Camp Snoopy. Parents will find comfortable rocking chairs, a microwave, and a diaper-changing station to use at their convenience.
