We're Cashless!

Faster. Easier. Safer. The Best Way To Pay.

At Carowinds, we want you to have an effortless time with your friends and family. That’s why we've moved to all cashless payments throughout the park. Simply swipe or tap your credit card, debit card or smart device with Apple Pay or Google Pay where you would normally use cash. It’s faster, safer and always secure.

No card? No problem! At our Cash-to-Card Kiosks, you can convert your cash into a prepaid debit card you can use anywhere – not just inside the park - with no fees. It’s easy and FREE!

VISA, Mastercard, Discover and American Express credit cards and most debit cards are accepted for payment. We also accept Apple Pay and Google Pay. The park has multiple Cash-to-Card kiosks located throughout to allow you to convert your cash to a prepaid card with no fee. Leftover funds can be used anywhere VISA is accepted.

There are 5 kiosks available at Carowinds:

  • North Gate
  • South Gate
  • Harmony Hall
  • Starbucks
  • RFD Arcade in Blue Ridge Junction
  • Camp Wilderness

There are no fees to convert your cash to a prepaid card and no fees to use the card in or outside the park. As long as the card is used regularly, no monthly fees will apply. After 92 consecutive days of no transaction activity, however, a $3.95 fee will be charged each month.

A minimum of $1 and up to $500 can be loaded on a card.

Prepaid cards are not reloadable. 

Cards can be used anywhere Visa is accepted in the United States.

The balance on the prepaid card can be checked at a Cash-to-Card kiosk, online at RCbalance.com or by calling the number found on the back of the card.

Cardholders opting for an SMS receipt at the kiosk will receive a unique link containing their card balance and real-time transaction history.

Scan the QR code throughout the park for a link to RCbalance.com

The kiosk will provide you with a receipt.  Take the receipt to the Guest Services office at the Front Gate.  The Guest Services team will work with the kiosk provider to verify the error and then load the funds onto a prepaid card.

By going cashless, we are able to conduct contact-less transactions, and it’s faster, safer and always secure.
