The Great Pumpkin Fest

Camp Snoopy transforms into a haven for youthful exuberance during The Great Pumpkin Fest, a heartwarming event with just a hint of Halloween spooky. Guests can mingle with select PEANUTS® characters, showcasing their best Halloween attire.

Operational hours for The Great Pumpkin Fest activities are Saturdays and Sundays, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Linus’ Pumpkin Patch - Children 12 years and under can pick and personalize their pumpkin. Find this pumpkin patch near Harmony Hall.

Lucy’s Mummy Pit - Dive into a frothy escapade inside this enchanting pyramid filled with bubbly delight, close to Snoopy vs. Red Baron.

Peppermint Patty’s Hay Bale Maze - Explore a maze of hay bales with Peppermint Patty and her PEANUTS® Gang. Designed for the safe and easy supervision of youngsters, you'll find this adventure near the Camp Snoopy fountain.

Trick or Treating - As a delightful bonus, each The Great Pumpkin Fest activity station doubles as a candy distribution point for young trick-or-treaters.

Woodstock’s Kookie Corn Maze - Navigate the serpentine trail of Woodstock’s endearing maze, a family favorite. It is located by the Camp Snoopy fountain.

All-New Tricks and Treats Parade

Carowinds rolls out the enchanting Tricks and Treats Parade this season, infusing the park’s midway with Halloween charm. The vibrant parade boasts artfully crafted floats, zany characters for guests to interact with, and an infectious dance party pulsating with iconic Halloween tunes.

The parade commences at the Carolina Harbor entrance in County Fair, making its grand journey through the Carolina Boardwalk, Thrill Zone, and Carousel Park. It pauses at three designated areas - County Fair, Thrill Zone, and Celebration Plaza - granting kids a moment to showcase their dance moves alongside the parade's eclectic cast. The culmination in Celebration Plaza is marked by a grand finale and, of course, candy treats for the young participants.

Mark your calendars: The Tricks and Treats Parade sets off at 3:30 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays through October 29.

Family-Friendly Live Entertainment

There's a diverse lineup of four live stage shows to entertain guests at Carowinds during its daytime hours this fall. With a mix of genres, there's a performance to captivate guests of all ages.

Whistlin’ Willie’s Western Wake – Step into the world of poor ‘ol Whistlin’ Willie, the enigmatic gold miner who met a mysterious end. Or did he? Regardless, Lusty Lil’ and the townsfolk are throwing a wild party in his honor, hoping to uncover his riches and maybe even stir his spirit. Don’t miss this lively musical theater performance featuring energetic singing, dancing, and knee-slapping comedy that is sure to have you hee-hawing up a storm.

The Monsters are Coming, Charlie Brown! – Join Charlie Brown and the beloved PEANUTS® gang in a live radio show reminiscent of the 1940s as they delight you with cherished Halloween tunes. Dressed in their Halloween finest, the PEANUTS® gang embarks on a mysterious, spooky, yet light-hearted musical journey. With a blend of fun and zero fright, this entertaining show is perfect for Halloween fun for the entire family.
