RIDE MORE. WAIT LESS. SPEED PAST THE LINES WITH FAST LANE!
When the Carolina Cyclone debuted at Carowinds in March 1980, it was the first roller coaster in the world with four inversions. Equipped with a new harness restraint system and new paint job, the Carolina Cyclone is still a fan-favorite.
Riders climb 95-feet and reach speeds up to 41 mph as they race through two 360-degree vertical loops, two 360-degree barrel rolls and a 450-degree uphill helix over the midway. In total, riders go upside down four times. WHAT A RUSH!
Your friends on the ground can walk under the last two inversions and cheer as you go through a whirlwind tour. This is also a great spot to grab some pictures.
