Gather your church, youth or school performance group and make lifelong memories at Carowinds' WinterFest, the Carolinas’ most immersive holiday attraction. With our unique performance opportunities for your church choir or school ensemble, your group can be a part of the holiday magic!
WinterFest boasts a sleigh-full of fun, with millions of lights, ice skating, live entertainment, specialty holiday comfort food, and select attractions. Listen to favorite holiday tunes from crooning carolers and indulge in the smells from the sweet aromas of freshly baked treats. Find unique holiday gifts at the specialty shops, play holiday-themed games, and catch the season's best live shows.
After an evening of FUN, get caught up in the merry procession of the nightly WinterFest Wonderland Parade with lavishly decorated floats, festive music, and brilliant performers.
We look forward to welcoming your group to the park! We value our guests and want to ensure we bring wholesome entertainment for the entire family to our stages. When choosing your performance selections, we ask that you remember that Carowinds is a family park, and all performances must be free of music with foul, inappropriate or sexually explicit language and there may not be any inappropriate or suggestive dance moves. Due to this, all dance groups are required to submit a video for approval within 3 weeks of your registration. Your registration fee secures the date and time of the performance, however, please do not submit the ticket order form or advise your group of your performance date without final approval of the video. You will be contacted once this video is reviewed and approved.
Performance groups must consist of 15 or more members. Groups will perform at a designated location within the park, which is determined based on music and sound needs, as well as the size and type of the group. After approval, you will then be able to submit your ticket request via order form or an online store link, which will be emailed to you. Ticket orders must be received in our office no later than three (3) weeks prior to your performance. Any music files required for your performance must be sent in a MP3 or higher format must also be received by this time. We are unable to accept any type of Google files or Google Docs.
Ticket orders that are not pre-paid at least three (3) weeks prior to your registered date and time are subject to cancelation. Due to the numerous performance groups in our park each day, these performances must be coordinated with entertainment to ensure the venue and needed equipment is available on the day of your performance. Our performance venues are in high demand, so if no tickets are purchased, we will have to release the reserved venue back to entertainment for their use.
The ticket price is $40 per person, with one (1) complimentary ticket for every 15 tickets purchased. This price applies to your group and any spectators that come with your group. All ticket orders (admission and meal, if applicable) must be pre-paid at least three weeks prior to your visit to secure the entertainment venue and allow sufficient time to process your order. Season passholders performers are $8.00 per person and do not count toward your group size.
Admission tickets, meal tickets, and bottomless soda wristbands are non-refundable.
One (1) complimentary chaperone admission ticket will be given for every 15 admission tickets purchased, unless otherwise noted. Complimentary chaperone tickets do not include picnic meals or bottomless soda wristbands. Please note that season passholders in your group do not count toward the total group number that would qualify for the complimentary tickets.
Bus parking is free. Bus drivers will receive a complimentary admission ticket by presenting their valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) at the Group Sales building, located at the North Gate Admission Services window. The complimentary bus driver ticket does not include the picnic meal or bottomless soda wristband.
