Carolina Harbor Waterpark at Carowinds will participate in the World's Largest Swimming Lesson™ (WLSL) on Thursday, June 20. This 26-acre water park will join hundreds of water parks, aquatic centers, and swim schools worldwide to offer simultaneous water-safety instruction as part of the 15th annual event.
The lesson is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. in Surf Club Harbor, our 27,000-square-foot wave pool. In partnership with the World Waterpark Association, WLSL aims to raise awareness about swimming as a vital life-saving skill and prevent drowning.
Learning to swim is the foundation for staying safe in, on, and around the water. Consider signing today if your child has not participated in formal swim lessons.
