Star-Spangled Nights Fireworks Spectacular

Make sure to catch Carowinds’ Star-Spangled Nights Fireworks Spectacular, July 3 and 4, as we celebrate Independence Day with a breathtaking patriotic fireworks show on the state line. Experience an unforgettable fireworks display synchronized to the stirring tunes of patriotic music.

Perfect for all ages, this fireworks event celebrates the spirit of our nation with a magnificent show of dazzling lights and sound.

The fireworks show will be visible throughout the park, with prime viewing spots in the Carolina Boardwalk, County Fair, and Celebration Plaza-areas. Vivid bursts of color will light up the night sky in the Carowinds skyline.

To minimize traffic delays on Carowinds Boulevard, guests should exit Carowinds and follow Pleasant Road to Gold Hill Road to I-77. Alternatively, guests may turn right onto Carowinds Boulevard when leaving the park and then take Westinghouse Boulevard to I-77. South Carolina State Troopers will be at the exit to direct traffic.
