Also, Surf Club Loungers are available for purchase and include two reserved shaded chaise lounge chairs at Surf Club Harbor.
For younger guests, the water park features a three-acre children's area with large play structures and interactive water jets. Complimentary life jackets are available throughout the park for safety.
In 2024, Carowinds will unveil two new additions to enhance the overall guest experience at Carolina Harbor Waterpark.
Keeping Guests Cool: Concrete Upgrades
The Carolinas are no stranger to summer heat. Three high-traffic walkways have been resurfaced with "cool deck" technology to provide a more comfortable walking experience.
21° and Colder

Carolina Harbor Waterpark will be open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. over the Memorial Day weekend. In honor of Memorial Day, Carowinds celebrates U.S. military personnel and their families with Military Days. Active and retired military members can enjoy complimentary admission by presenting a valid U.S. military ID at Carowinds’ front gate from May 24 to May 27. The park invites guests to the Summer BLAST! Fireworks Show on Saturday, at 9:30 p.m., a nighttime spectacle with a patriotic soundtrack accompanying the dazzling display.
