Enticing Events Lineup Slated for Carowinds in 2025

CHARLOTTE, NC – January 29, 2025 — Carowinds will open for its 52nd season March 15. In addition to the park’s expansion of Camp Snoopy with two new family rides, the amusement park will feature a diverse lineup of special events for the 2025 season. From new festivals like Viva La Fiesta to familiar favorites like SCarowinds and WinterFest, a multitude of family entertainment will await guests throughout the entire season – all included with an active Six Flags Gold Season Pass.
“Carowinds is known for being the home to world-class entertainment. In addition to two new major rides opening later this season in Camp Snoopy, our expanded event offerings for 2025 will help families make new memories and have more fun as the midways come to life on the state line,” said Ryan Allen, director of live entertainment.
Highlights of this season’s event series include:
- Spring Break Days (April 11 – 27): Live entertainment, daily festivities, Fury 325’s 10th anniversary celebration and more fill two weeks of spring break adventure.
- NEW! Viva La Fiesta (July 19 – Aug. 10): An exhilarating celebration of cultural richness and spirited traditions, complete with captivating sights, lively sounds and mouthwatering flavors for the whole family.
- Oktoberfest (Sept. 13 – Nov. 2): Brings the spirit of Germany’s world-famous festival to the Carolinas with authentic cuisine, craft beers and transformative entertainment for all ages.
- SCarowinds (Sept. 12 – Nov. 2): Celebrating 25 years of fears, the Carolina’s most popular Halloween event returns with spine-chilling mazes and attractions that are sure to deliver chills and thrills. Tricks and Treats, Carowinds’ family friendly daytime event, is also included in admission.
- WinterFest (Nov. 22 – Jan. 4): An immersive celebration of the holiday season, complete with millions of lights, larger-than-life decor, festive performances, luscious seasonal treats and fanciful experiences for families and friends alike.
