Fall is just around the corner so prepare to bundle up and get ready for fun fall festivities this season at Carowinds. Select nights and weekends in September through November, Carowinds is offering a variety of activities, from family fun to thrill-seeking screams, as the park comes alive with Oktoberfest, Tricks and Treats and SCarowinds presented by SNICKERS®.  

Spirited Live Performances & Authentic German Food at Oktoberfest  

Join us every Saturday and Sunday between September 13 and November 23, from 11 AM to 7PM for Oktoberfest. This fall festival brings the spirit of Germany’s world-known traditions to life with premium-quality beers, family friendly activities, and authentic German cuisine.  

Some of the must-tries during this celebration include: 

• German sausage 
• Bavarian pretzel 
• Chicken Schnitzel  
• Apple Streusel 

Oktoberfest also offers a variety of beverages to quench your thirst:  

• Samuel Adams® Boston Lager (Draft)

Amongst the mouthwatering food there will be a variety of activities to do in the park. Think you can eat the most bratwursts? Join us for a Brat Eating Contest! Or why not start the day with the Keg tapping Ceremony?

Experience Family Fun with Tricks and Treats  

Halloween at Carowinds means family fun for all ages. Every Saturday and Sunday between September 13 through November 2, Tricks and Treats will take place from 11 AM to 5 PM.  

Halloween Activities for the Whole Family 

Tricks And Treats offers a variety of activities for the youngest and guests who are looking for less frightening Halloween activities. Check out the list below and plan your trip:  

• Trick-or-Treat Trail – During this event, our younger visitors can get some of their favorite sweets from costumed characters. 
• Patch’s Pumpkin Patch – Bring your creativeness out at this pumpkin patch and create your own pumpkin masterpiece.  
• Mask Makers Mash – No need to come to the park in a costume, at this Maker’s Mask, you can construct your own mask!  
• Phantom Foam Pit – Dive into a bubbly pyramid and play around in the foam.  
• The Costume Contest – This is your time to shine, show off your scary-cool style in our Halloween Costume Contest.

Get ready for a thrilling experience as the sun goes down and the park transforms from Carowinds to SCarowinds presented by SNICKERS. Select nights and weekends from September 12 through November 2, we invite all fearless souls to join us in the fear that rules the streets of Carowinds, as scare-zones and haunted mazes come alive in the park.  

Terrifying Additions to The Horror at Carowinds 

In honor of SCarowinds 25th anniversary, SCarowinds presented by SNICKERS® will premiere four new attractions and a live stage show.  

• The Conjuring: Beyond Fear – an all-new, SCREAMium experience where you’ll navigate iconic scenes from New Line Cinema's The Conjuring Universe to lock away cursed artifacts before supernatural chaos is unleashed 
• Defex 2.0 Presented by M&M’S® – New Haunted Maze 
• Silver Scream Studios: 25th Anniversary Cut presented by SKITTLES® – New Haunted Maze  
• Glitch – New Scare Zone  
• DepRAVed – New live show

Admission to Halloween at Carowinds 

In our Daily Admission tickets, you can enjoy all the fun thrills and rides, Oktoberfest, Tricks and Treats and the scare zones of SCarowinds presented by SNICKERS®. To attend one of our haunted mazes a separate ticket is required and can be purchased here. 

• Access to The Conjuring: Beyond Fear is not included with park admission or a Haunted Attractions Pass. To access this experience, you need a park ticket, or a valid Gold or Prestige Season Pass to access the park. Then, you can either:  
• Purchase a single entry for the date of your visit 
• Purchase a Haunted Attractions Express Pass (granting a single entry to this experience on the night of your visit). 
• Or 
• Add an All Season Haunted Attractions Express Pass to a valid 2025 or 2026 season pass (granting a single entry to this experience on the night of your visit).   

Want to visit more than once? Enjoy unlimited admission to the park during all these events, and for all of 2026 with a 2026 Gold Pass. A Gold Season Pass also includes free parking for the remainder of 2025 and all of 2026.
