Stay Cool at Carowinds

Summer has arrived, bringing with it high temperatures and humidity. The heat can’t stop the fun at Carowinds. Guests can stay cool during their visit with the following helpful tips and tricks:
COMPLIMENTARY WATER: Stay hydrated with complimentary water, available at all open dining locations in the park. Guests are also welcome to bring refillable water bottles, as there are bottle filling stations located throughout the park.
Note, all refillable bottles must be empty upon arrival.
COOLING TOWELS: Purchase a cooling towel at one of the many retail shops inside Carowinds.
INDOOR FUN: Take a break and cool off with Carowinds' indoor attractions. The air-conditioned Carowinds Theater features Snoopy's Legendary Rooftop Concert this summer. Grab a bite to eat in one of the dining locations with a large air-conditioned dining room like Chickie's and Pete's, Blue Ridge Country Kitchen, Leonardo's Hometown Italian Food or Harmony Hall.
MISTING FANS: Guests can cool off under large misting fans located in the queue lines of most rides in the park.
OUTSIDE ITEMS: Guests bring certain items into the park, such as cooling towels and personal fans, to help them cool off. Guests may bring bags into the park; all bags are subject to search prior to entry.
WATER PARK: Carolina Harbor, Carowinds' premier water park, features two wave pools, a lazy river and multiple water slides to allow guests to cool off while having fun.
SHADED PRIVATE CABANAS: Cool off in a private, shaded cabana at Carolina Harbor Waterpark. There are four types of cabanas available, for groups of all sizes. Guests should reserve a cabana online prior to their visit.
