Join the beloved PEANUTS characters for a New Year's Eve celebration tailored for young children. Additionally, at 11:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m., the PEANUTS characters will host special New Year's Eve countdowns for the little ones.

Pop the bubbly! Carowinds' culinary team has crafted a special sparkling cocktail exclusively available during the New Year's Eve celebration at WinterFest. The New Year's Fizz is a unique sparkling mojito garnished with mint. Enjoy the beverage, along with champagne and mimosa options, at bar locations throughout the park.
Rides and First Riders of the Year on Fury 325
Thrill-seekers, prepare for the excitement of New Year's Eve at WinterFest. Up to 28 rides will be available for guests during the New Year's Eve celebration. Plus, be the first riders of the year on Fury 325, an exhilarating way to kick off 2024.
Reserve an Igloo
For those looking to add warmth and coziness to their New Year's Eve experience, consider renting one of Carowinds' igloos. These unique spaces offer a private, heated retreat where you can gather with friends and family while enjoying the WinterFest atmosphere. Igloo rentals include seating for up to eight guests, four hot chocolate souvenir mugs, priority access to Tinker's Toy Factory and ice skating (additional fee), and delivery for select food and beverage orders.
New Year's Eve Fireworks Display
As the clock strikes midnight, guests will want to find the perfect spot to witness the spectacular fireworks display and usher in the new year. New Year's Eve hats and horns will be distributed by WinterFest elves as midnight approaches.
The prime locations for enjoying the fireworks include the Blue Ridge Junction and County Fair areas. The fireworks display will commence promptly at midnight to mark the beginning of the new year.
