Carowinds and Sycamore Brewing Re-Launch the Copperhead Strike IPA
Something new has been brewing down at Byrd Farm. Turns out Granny and the team at Carowinds have been working with Sycamore Brewing to cook up something special for y’all.
We are proud to reintroduce the Copperhead Strike IPA! This fan-favorite brew will return to the park this weekend.
“We are ecstatic about the re-launch of Copperhead Strike! This was such a fun project for us the first time around, and we can’t wait for Carowinds fans to be able to enjoy this beloved brew again,” said Sarah Brigham, Co-Owner of Sycamore Brewing.
When sipping on this striking beer guests will notice a brand-new look. The Copperhead Strike IPA’s can features a new visually stunning design. Brigham said that “It was important to capture the experience of this iconic attraction. We think the bright color palette and bold snake imagery speak to the thrill of riding Copperhead Strike!”
Not only is there a new can design but the beer has an enhanced flavor profile too. Brad Bregman, Brewing Director, says that Sycamore Brewing “Utilized a different yeast strain to develop an array of unique, fruity flavors to align the flavor profile with more current craft beer trends. Prominent in the flavor profile is a peach/stone fruit flavor, backed by a refreshing kick of lemon/lime and orange citrus, with light earthy/tea notes intertwined — almost like a peach lemon sweet tea flavor. I thought evoking sweet tea, paired with summery flavors of peach and lemon citrus speaks to the South and brings some southern hospitality to park customers.”
You can find the Copperhead Strike IPA at the Harmony Hall Bar and Blue Ridge Ridge Country Kitchen Patio this weekend! It will also be available at Schnooers when Carolina Harbor Waterpark opens on June 12. Cheers!
