Since you can’t come to the park just yet, we're bringing the park to you. Take a virtual stroll through Carowinds right now. Let’s go!

Celebration Plaza

Welcome to Carowinds, where the Carolinas come together and the state line goes right down the middle of the park. The Carolina Skytower offers the best and most beautiful views and Nighthawk lets you fly through the skies on the Carolinas’ first flying coaster experience. Now, get ready to start your engines on Intimidator. This tribute to Dale Earnhardt takes riders 232 feet high and up to 80 MPH. Take a look at what this full-throttle roller coaster is like.

Carousel Park

Take a spin through Carousel Park. At the heart of this area is The Grand Carousel, a timeless classic built in 1923. Take Vortex for a whirl with its unconventional stand-up roller coaster trains. High energy fun awaits on the spinning Scrambler. See what else can be found around and around this area.

Thrill Zone

Speed over to Thrill Zone for exhilarating attractions like Drop Tower, ScreamWeaver, Hurler and the award-winning Fury 325. The world’s tallest and fastest Giga coaster takes guests on a 3.4-minute journey with speeds up to 95 MPH. Feel the sting with this 360-degree video.

Carolina Boardwalk

Down by the Carolina Boardwalk, you’ll find the park’s most classic coasters. There’s Carolina Cyclone, which celebrates its 40th anniversary this year. You’ll also find Carolina Goldrusher, one of the park’s original attractions. Bounce over to Ricochet for wild hairpin turns and thrilling dips. Here's a unique perspective on this wild mouse roller coaster ride.

County Fair

Take a step back in time for the home-grown thrills and food of an early-era Carolina County Fair. Enjoy a nostalgic atmosphere full of timeless fun for all ages with rides like Do-Si-Do, Rock N’ Roller, Zephyr and Electro Spin, and experience high-flying thrills on The Flying Cobras roller coaster.

Blue Ridge Junction

Step into the natural, easy-going culture of the Carolinas’ Blue Ridge Mountains. Here, the majestic landscape, vibrant colors and undeniable charm of the Carolina highlands are represented through the vibes, eats and experiences. On the fan-favorite Mountain Gliders you can choose which direction the wind will take you like a bird soaring over the mountains. Just around the corner is Granny Byrd’s farm. If you discover her “jam” making operation…y’all better get going. Luckily you have the most exciting getaway car on Copperhead Strike, the Carolinas' first double-launch roller coaster.

Crossroads

This area is full of unique experiences that bring everyone together. Chase your family and friends on the Dodg'ems bumper cars or challenge them on the frightfully delightful Boo Blasters on Boo Hill. Plants vs. Zombies™ Garden Warfare 3Z Arena is packed with astonishing effects and the zany action of this popular video game series, where players compete for high scores and bragging rights. Take an in-depth look at the creation of this attraction.

Camp Snoopy

Calling all campers! Charlie Brown and his PEANUTS pals invite you to Camp Snoopy. This wilderness-inspired area has rides and experiences for the entire family. You’ll find lots of shade with a beautiful centerpiece fountain and shady pergolas. Go on a virtual hike below. You never know what fun friends you’ll meet.
