WinterFest Wonderland Parade Sneak Peek

WinterFest, the Carolinas' premier family holiday festival, is even more exciting this year as we introduce the Wonderland Parade. Here's a special sneak peek at the design of each festive float.

Carowinds' holiday festival featuring a brand-new parade

The WinterFest Wonderland Parade will emerge from the North Pole Excursion, stopping in County Fair, Jingle Bell Boardwalk, Tinsel Town and Carousel Park, making a final stop near the North Gate.

Toot! Toot! The first float will be a holiday train locomotive featuring the Holly Jolly Trolley cast kicking off the parade with Christmas carols to delight the whole family.

A Train Float will be part of WinterFest's parade and Christmas event

The Gazebo Float will follow close behind. Here you'll see the cast of Charlie Brown's Christmas Spectacular and the Ice Prince and Princess, in addition to two live "ice" skaters. Oh what fun!

Next up will be the Gingerbread Float, featuring the world's most famous cookie baker, Mrs. Claus. Gingerbread Boy and Ginny, a group of Cookie Dancers and more will bring joy and wonder as they stir up some Christmas cheer.

A gingerbread house float will make WinterFest a SWEET thing to do for Christmas this year

Hold onto your sweet tooth, because the Candy Rider Float is up next! Cookie Carmel, Capt. Macaron, General Napoleon, Candy Cane and Mr. Twister, Elves and bakers may just take you along for the ride.

Appropriately, one of the coolest floats in the parade is Jack Frost's Snow Machine. Jack Frost himself is at the helm, sending snow soaring into the audience, making Carowinds feel like a true winter wonderland. SnowFlake and Tinsel, snowball fighers, and roller skiers will provide exciting entertainment as the snow flies.

The Toy Shop Float will warm up the crowd after that chilly display. The cast of Tinkers Toy Factory will provide a fun, upbeat and colorful performance that'll have guests wrapped up in the holiday spirit.

You'll be reminded of Christmases gone by when the Toy Box Rider Float rolls through, featuring the Four Drummers Drumming, a Toy Soldier, a Teddy Bear, Rag Doll Toys - and maybe you too!

The Elf Wrapping Brigade will provide some comic relief as Holly, Jolly, Lolly and Jingle Bell pedal by on adult-sized tri-cycles trying to catch up to - you guessed it - the BIG GUY!

Elves as part of WinterFest's live entertainment

Santa will finish off the parade in style on his very own sleigh as the Cool Yule Singers and Dancers perform your favorite holiday hits for a festive finale.

We hope this sneak peak at our all-new WinterFest Wonderland Parade has you as excited as we are! We can't wait to see you beginning on November 24 to celebrate the holiday season.

Want to be among the first to experience the WinterFest Wonderland parade? Well then don't miss the Gold & Platinum Season Passholder WinterFest Preview Night on November 23rd! Passholders will be the first to experience this all-new holiday event spectacular.
