Parents' Guide to Great Pumpkin Fest in Charlotte, NC

Fall is just around the corner, and you know what that means: it's SCarowinds season. But what about Halloween fun that's suitable for little ghosts and goblins? Join us for our kids' Halloween event - Great Pumpkin Fest - now bigger and better than ever! Let us take you through what to expect at this fall-tastic event.

In Camp Snoopy, you'll find all kinds of fun activities. Kids can get sudsy in Lucy's Mummy Pit, play a variety of awesome games at Franklin's Game Corner, and even ride a tractor at Charlie Brown's Tractor Tour.

Don't miss out on our Camp Theater experiences while you're in Camp Snoopy! Set sail on the seven seas with Captain Charlie Brown, and join Snoopy for Count Snooptacula's Costume Party.

After visiting Camp Snoopy, head out towards Fleet Street for Big Ben's Boogie Down. This silent disco is sure to be a sensation!

Remember how we said Great Pumpkin Fest is now bigger and better than ever? It's because we've expanded into two additional areas in the park! Get an extra helping of Snoopy and the whole PEANUTS gang as they host the all-new Great Pumpkin Fest Activity Trail, complete with a challenge course, corn maze, hay bale maze, games, crafts and much more.

In addition to the activity trail, we also have two new shows! Catch the Meat Cleaver High Pep Rally in Thrill Zone, and participate in AHOY! The Buccaneer Challenge Game Show in Deadman's Landing.

Finally, head over to Halloween Hootenanny in Blue Ridge Junction! Everyone will enjoy family games, fun activities and DJ Hoot ‘N’ Holler playing tunes for dancing on the midway.

Filled with everything that makes fall a cheerful and spooky time of year, Carowinds truly puts the “WEE!” in kids’ Halloween events with our Great Pumpkin Fest, providing even more Halloween activities for kids and families than ever before. Let’s celebrate all things fall, y’all!
