Take a trip to Santa's headquarters in North Pole Excursion, NEW at WinterFest! This area of the park is filled with holiday cheer and plenty of opportunities to make family memories. Here's your guide to our newest winter wonderland:

Sights and Sounds

North Pole Excursion is filled with interactive experiences like Reindeer Roundup. This kid-friendly show follows the adventures of animatronic Murray the Moose and Rudy Reindeer. Our North Pole is also complete with an elf village, full of holiday spirit. 

Decorate Cookies with Mrs. Claus

Making cookies for Santa is one of the most traditional Christmas pastimes. So, what could be better than making cookies with Mrs. Claus herself? Lucky for you, Mrs. Claus has replicated her North Pole kitchen in the heart of Carowinds. Stop by and decorate your cookie creation!

Carriage Rides

Climb aboard a festive horse-drawn carriage to complete your evening of holiday fun. Enjoy the scenery of the North Pole, decked out with tons of lights and holiday decorations.

Picture Perfect

North Pole Excursion is filled with plenty of spots to snap a holiday memory. Take the whole family inside our giant snow globe for a fun family picture. Or, strike a picture perfect pose with the Ice Prince and Princess of WinterFest!

Dasher’s Diner

Only the best food is on the menu at Dasher’s Diner to satisfy the appetites of North Pole’s elves. Feast on an array of traditional holiday menu items specially crafted with a southern twist by our executive chef. Here are our favorite dishes:
