In addition to the all-new Camp Snoopy kids’ area, we will also be introducing the Carowinds Pre-K Pass for the 2018 season. This exciting new product is free for kids ages 3 to 5 years old and includes unlimited visits for the entire season, including The Great Pumpkin Fest and WinterFest. That means you can come and go as you wish from March through December!

Carowinds Pre-K Pass

To take advantage of this great offer, you must first register online. Once you’ve entered your information, you’ll receive an email confirming your registration.

Online registration must be completed by May 28, 2018.

Once you’ve finished registration, you must now activate your child’s Pre-K Pass by visiting the park. Registration can only be completed at the Season Pass Processing Center located at the main entrance of the park. Check our calendar to schedule your visit for activation.

When you arrive to activate your child’s Pre-K Pass, be sure to bring three things:

  1. Your email confirming registration
  2. The child who is receiving the pass
  3. Proof of age for the child, which can include a birth certificate or passport

When you registered, you may have uploaded a photo online; however, this doesn’t mean your child doesn’t need to be present at the time of processing. Please be sure to bring your child and a proof of age for activating.

You have until June 17, 2018 to activate your Pre-K Pass.

New at Carowinds

Once activation is complete, your child can come and go as you wish. Whether you’d like to stop by for a quick visit after school or enjoy a full day, the choice is yours!

Carowinds Pre-K Pass: Frequently Asked Question

My child turns six years old before the activation deadline?

Your child must be 5 years old or younger at the time of activation. If they will be turning six during the season, they’ll still be eligible for the free Pre-K Pass as long as they activate it before their sixth birthday. We encourage you to activate your pass as soon as possible.

My child is two and will be turning three after the deadline. Can I still get them a Pre-K Pass?

As long as you have all the requirements listed above and proof of birthdate, you can redeem their free Pre-K Pass before their third birthday as long as registration and activation of the Pre-K Pass are completed before the June 17th deadline.

Can my child use their Pre-K Pass at other Cedar Fair Parks?

The Carowinds Pre-K Pass is only valid for unlimited admission to Carowinds and doesn’t include other Cedar Fair parks. If the park you’re interested in visiting does offer a Pre-K Pass, you must register and activate your child’s Pre-K Pass for the specific park. Keep in mind, the activation process and deadline may vary from park to park.

My child is currently 3 to 5 years old, but already has a Carowinds Season Pass. How does this affect them?

Instead of renewing their Season Pass for the 2018 season, you can opt to take advantage of the free Pre-K Pass. Unfortunately, this is a new program and is not retroactive. We will not be able to offer refunds or exchanges on previously purchased Season Passes.
