Coming to Carowinds in 2018 - Camp Snoopy! This exciting transformation of our kids' area, Planet Snoopy, will include the addition of six new junior rides and a reimagined PEANUTS theme with all your favorite characters and rides. With a new look, new amenities, new thrills and new experiences, Camp Snoopy will be the premiere destination for family fun next season. 

Scout the 2018 season and explore the massive makeover with the help of our concept illustrations. Complete with the rustic charm of the outdoors, families will love setting up camp in this brand new kids area. 

Bird's-Eye View 

Camp Snoopy will introduce a total of six new Carowinds attractions designed especially for young campers and their families.

  1. Woodstock Whirlybirds
  2. Beagle Scout Acres 
  3. Pig Pen's Mud Buggies
  4. Camp Bus
  5. Kite Eating Tree
  6. Trailblazers 

Midway View One 

If you're familiar with the Planet Snoopy and the park, this conceptual view is of the south corner of Camp Snoopy where Woodstock Gliders is currently located. With the addition of six new rides, the new kid's area will be drastically changed. Pictured above from left to right, Pig Pen's Mud Buggies, Camp Bus, Kite Eating Tree and Trailblazers. 

Midway View Two 

Camp Snoopy will feature several new theming elements and iconic scenes from the PEANUTS comic strip. The new kid's area takes full advantage of its natural setting. Complete with new amenities, dining improvements and parent-friendly enhancements - families will love setting up camp in our new kid's area. 

Beagle Scout Acres 

Beagle Scout Acres will be a 8,000-square-foot climb and play area, specifically designed as a place where kids can be kids and let their imagination roam. This unique attraction features a toddler play area, an elaborate playground, climbing structures and interactive play elements. This massive new area will also have plenty of shady spots for parents to rest. 

2018 will be another exciting year at Carowinds when Camp Snoopy debuts next spring. Best of all, kids ages three to five can visit as often as they'd like for FREE with our new 2018 Pre-K Pass. Click here to learn more!
