Meet the 2016 Cast of Cirque Imagine

Phil: Red Character, Acrobat, Trampoline
Phil: Red Character, Acrobat, Trampoline
Phil is a former Canadian National Trampoline Champion who holds a World Record for difficulty in synchronized trampoline. At 27 years old, Phil has worked with Canada’s Les Productions Haut-Vol for 11 seasons. He has recently performed with Cirque du Soleil in Mexico. Phil likes dung beetles, hermit crabs and Mexican hairless dogs. According to Phil, he is a Master of Disguise and self-proclaimed Ninja!
Nicolas: Trial Bike
Nicolas: Trial Bike
When Nicolas was 18 years old, he began learning trial bike. Since 2011, he has been a member of the French performance team “Show Wheels.” Nicolas is not only an avid trial biker, but he is a very proficient basketball player. Nicolas recently joined Canada’s Les Productions Haut-Vol and is very happy to be here in the Carolinas performing in Cirque Imagine!
Brigitte: Aerial Silks
Brigitte: Aerial Silks
“Brigitte” may be her name, but people call her “Frenchy.” For over thirteen years, Brigitte was a competitive gymnast. She performed for three years on the world's largest cruise ship, “Oasis of the Seas,” and more recently has performed with Canada’s Les Productions Haut-Vol for the past 3 years. Brigitte says that she is obsessed with her cats and believes that “one day, they will be a YouTube sensation!”
Caro: Trampoline
Caro: Trampoline
Caro says that she has been “an Acrobat since... forever.” When she was younger, Caro was jumping, climbing and running everywhere in her house, so her mom decided to put her in gymnastics at the age of three! Caro became a circus artist in 2007. Describing herself as “determined, passionate, and a perfectionist,” Caro says she “always looks for new challenges and new experiences.”
Jo: Hand to Hand, Trampoline
Jo: Hand to Hand, Trampoline
Jo was born and raised in Quebec City, Canada. After three years of circus school, he joined the Productions Haut-Vol team to create the first ever Cirque Imagine show in Toronto back in 2012. Since then, he has performed every character and part of that show! Five years later, he is more than happy to open the first season of Cirque Imagine here in the Carolinas.
Mike: Red Character, Acrobat, Trampoline
Mike: Red Character, Acrobat, Trampoline
Mike is from Las Vegas, Nevada, where he was a competitive gymnast and a pole vaulter. This is his second year performing in Cirque Imagine. He has performed with Canada’s Les Productions Haut-Vol for the past four years. Mike says he has “been well known to be incredibly unknown” and says he is currently training his cat, Rocky, to be an Olympic weight lifter and horse racer.

After performing as a clown all over Canada and recently on cruise ships with her acrobatic chairs duo, M&M says she is “very proud and happy to be one of the main characters of Cirque Imagine!”
Alana: Aerial Straps
Alana: Aerial Straps
Alana graduated from the Québec City Circus School in 2012. Since then, she has been seen on stages across the USA, Canada and Europe. She specializes in performing all things aerial, including straps, silks and Chinese pole. Since 2011, Alana has worked with Canada’s Les Productions Haut Vol. In her free time, Alana enjoys collecting and refurbishing seashells.
Nico: Red Character, Acrobat, Cyr Wheel
Nico: Red Character, Acrobat, Cyr Wheel
Nico completed his training at Quebec Circus School in 2009. He specialized in ground acrobatics duo, and also focused on developing his skills in both Cyr wheel and teeterboard. With Duo Reflex, Nico won GOLD at the 2010 International Circus Festival "Young Stage" in Switzerland. Nico is now performing in his fourth year with Cirque Imagine!
Solenne: Hand to Hand

Solenne is a self-proclaimed circus kid. Since the age of eight years old, she would hang around the big tops and circus folks in Paris, where she grew up. After attending multiple schools and doing countless trips around the globe, Solenne found her way into Cirque Imagine in 2013 in Toronto. Four years and many different characters later, she is really exited to perform in front of a whole new audience here in the Carolinas.
