2024 Pre-K Passes Now Available
The Carowinds Pre-K Pass is back for 2024! It’s FREE for kids three-years-old to five-years-old and includes unlimited visits in 2024 to Carowinds, Carolina Harbor Waterpark, The Great Pumpkin Fest and WinterFest.
Getting your child’s Pre-K Pass:
Step 1: Purchase
Purchase a Gold or Prestige Pass.
Step 2: Register
Register your child online for their free Pre-K Pass by August 1, 2024. Guests may not register at the park.
Step 3: Activate
After registering your child, bring them to the park on a public operating day to activate their pass at the North Gate by August 1, 2024. Make sure to bring your child and a valid birth certificate or passport that shows their age.
Step 4: Play
After activating the Pre-K Pass, your child can come and go as often as you would like throughout the season – for FREE!
Carowinds offers children age three-years-old to five-years-old a free Pre-K Pass, which grants complimentary admission to Carowinds, Carolina Harbor Waterpark, The Great Pumpkin Fest and WinterFest.
The Pre-K Pass program at Carowinds is still active. We have made enhancements to the program to simplify the registration process for eligible three to five year olds. Parents must now purchase their Gold or Prestige Pass first, then register their child for the free Pre-K Pass. There is a limit of two Pre-K Passes per valid Gold or Prestige Pass.
Gold and Prestige Passholders are entitled to enroll two kids between the age three-years-old to five-years-old in the Pre-K Pass program at the time of activation or renewal. To receive a free Pre-K Pass, registration is completed online and a valid Gold or Prestige Season Pass number must be entered when prompted.
Purchase a Gold or Prestige Pass, register for a Pre-K Pass online by August 1, 2024, follow the directions, and submit. On your first visit, print the e-ticket and bring it to Carowinds' North Gate with your child and a valid form of identification that proves the child’s date of birth. Examples of valid identification include a birth certificate and travel passport. These can be originals or copies.
If you purchased the All Park Passport add-on with either your Gold or Prestige pass, the pre-k pass associated with your account can be used for entry to select Cedar Fair Parks. Pre-K passes are only valid for entry to California's Great America, Carowinds, Cedar Point, Dorney Park, Kings Dominion, Valleyfair and Worlds of Fun.
