Director Heinrich Von Hellsburg (A.S.C.) created some of the worst horror movies of the 1950's and 60's. You've probably never heard of him. With titles like "Revenge of the Sleepy Barista", "Chainsaws and Bikinis" and "Gore-Met Zombie Brains", his films never even reached the shelves of your local video store. Horror was Von Hellsburg's passion, and he was dead set on making it big. However, he couldn't win over the critics. Below are just a few lackluster reviews found on the popular horror movie website Rotten Potatoes:
"Von Hellsburg is a joke. The only thing scary about his movies is the fact he's making them." - R.J. Wright, Carolina Movie Times Review Chronical
"Who gave this numbskull a camera?" - Henry Jacobs, Slasher and Blood Magazine
"I'd rather die than watch one of his crummy movies." - Scary Barry's Movie Review
"Despite his desperate attempts, Von Hellsburg couldn't even direct late-night traffic. I feel sorry and amazement for anyone who has ever sat through one of his films." - Adam Frazier, Geeks of Doom
"The worst horror movie director of all time." - C.M. Foshinstien, Hollywood Post News
Facing constant mockery, Von Hellsburg was driven mad and was institutionalized - closing his infamous Sliver Scream Studios for decades. Refusing to go down in history with dishonor and humiliation, Von Hellsburg escaped from the sanitarium and is once again holding auditions at his studios. Determined to make the scariest movie of all time, Von Hellsburg is sending out a casting call for some new blood to make their "Silver Scream" debut. Will you make the cut?
