Things Are Really "Flying" at Carowinds This Month« Go Back Friday, February 24th, 2012
Wow, so much has been going on around the park this off-season! Where to begin?
As most of you know (and many of you have seen if you travel up and down I-77 past the park) WindSeeker is gearing up to open on March 31! Are you counting down the days? I know I am!
We’ve been posting lots of construction photos of Facebook- so if you’re not a fan, be sure to “like” our page, so you can be the first to know about updates and information about the park.
One of the most exciting things I’m looking forward to this season is seeing the faces of our guests when they ride WindSeeker. I’m especially looking forward to seeing Chris Turner, the winner of our “Extreme Blogger” contest who will be facing his fear of heights 30-stories above the park on opening day. You can be sure we’ll be posting pictures of Chris and his wife, Jessica, as they brave WindSeeker together.
In the next few weeks, the area around WindSeeker will change as we gear up for opening day with some exciting new additions to the area - including new seating and shade structures as well as new pavers. I’ll be sure to post pictures – and you can bet as soon as they start testing the new ride, I’ll be ready with my camera!
What are you looking forward to this season? Any new visitors this year? If so, we’d love to hear from you!
Until next time,
