Weighing in at more than 2.2 million pounds, the 144-foot tall coaster was built by the renowned Swiss-based coaster manufacturer Bolliger and Mabillard (B&M). Best known for its blinding speeds—up to 62 mph—Afterburn also is distinguished by its inverted construction. With trains suspended below the track, riders loop on the outside of the track instead of on the inside.
- Special Access Entrance is at ride exit. Guests using wheelchairs should enter through the special entrance ramp located to the left of the main ride entrance. Press the elevator intercom buttom for assistance from a ride operator.
