2010 Carowinds Cares Donation Window Now Closed

 
Thank you so much for your interest in the Carowinds Cares Donation Request Program. Our company takes great pride in the many contributions we make annually to help nonprofit, civic, and school organizations. At this time, requests for our 2010 season will no longer be accepted. We thank you for thinking of us, and hope you continue to think of Carowinds for your charitable organizations in the coming years.

Carowinds Cares Program

At Carowinds, we are dedicated to making people happy by providing them with fun, excitement and memorable experiences.

As a proud Carolinas' Community Partner, we strive to support our neighbors through an active community relations effort focused on children and families. By giving back to our community, we thank those who have supported our mission over the years and help ensure a bright future for those who will visit us tomorrow.

Who We Can Support

We support children and families in ways that produce measurable and positive results. By working with organizations that support our mission, we can enrich lives in our community. We are focused in two primary areas:

  • Compassion: We believe we can turn a frown upside down by providing memorable outings for those facing medical challenges, living with disabilities and making his/her way despite a disadvantaged start.
  • Education: As a leader in theme park innovation, Carowinds appreciates the value of education and creativity. We support those organizations that are committed to opening children's minds and hearts to the power of ideas.

Who We Can't Support

We would love to provide monetary and ticket support to everyone, and we thank you for visiting to see if your non-profit group is eligible. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide support to the following groups:

  • Individuals or individual families
  • For-profit organizations
  • Religious groups utilizing Carowinds for festivals, bingo events, building funds or other activities that do not directly benefit children
  • Political parties
  • Any organization that discriminates due to color, sex, nationality, sexual orientation or creed

How Can We Apply?

The Carowinds Cares donation program window for the 2010 season is now closed. The donation window is open each year from March 1 – April 1. Because of the volume of requests that we receive, we cannot accept donation requests after this date. We encourage you to plan ahead for the 2011 season so that we receive your request during the donation time frame.
